Featured PA Community: Old Forge Crossing - Video Tour
Welcome to Old Forge Crossing! Located in Devon, PA, this tightly-knit community offers a variety of amenities from walking paths to tennis courts to beautiful outdoor spaces and more— all at an affordable price! In fact, Old Forge Crossing is such a great place to call home, it's often referred to as the "best-kept secret" on Philadelphia's Main Line!
Originally part of the famous Greene Country Village, the land grant given to William Penn by the English King, 1700's Old Forge Crossing was made up of 1,000 acres before being divided into plots for church and farming use. In 1969, the property—then used as a farm—was sold to Old Forge Crossing Associates before it was transferred to Prudential Insurance Company who maintained the property as an apartment complex. It was not long after in 1981 that the Old Forge Crossing Condominium Association was formed.
Today, Old Forge Crossing is still functioning as an upscale condominium community in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, in the award-winning Tredyffrin-Easttown school district.
With over 500 garden-style, one-level apartments, 20 two-level townhomes, and 1 cottage, the picturesque community sits on 40 acres with common areas including the following:
• A Clubhouse
• Barn
• Private Access to the Chester Valley Trail
• Walking Paths
• Swimming Pool
• Reflection Pond
• Picnic Area
• Two Tennis Courts
The clubhouse holds various social events for residents throughout the year, for instance, the annual flea market, Kentucky Derby and Christmas party. There is also a responsive, management office on the premises to quickly tend to any and all resident needs. The association has even been recognized by the Gold Star Community program which gives awards for developing and maintaining standards, encouraging community participation, maintaining fiscal stability and making a positive impact on residents' quality of life.
